Well, she knocked over a kerosene lamp an[F]d she
set the house [C]on fire and [Am]burned it to the ground
[C]and then it rained [Am]and washed
all the ashes [G]away [C]so
Elf got home and he
thought somebody [Am]stole [C]his house.

Elf went running over to tell the sher[Am]iff
and he cut through
Winnie
Duncan's [F]backyard.

Winnie is back [C]there sawing
on this big oak tree and it fell [G]and hit
Elf [C]right on the head and broke both his

Winnie felt so bad about it that he gave

dozen [F]eggs.

Elf's hogs broke into [Am]his

hours of drinking, well,
they got pretty mean and tore down his fence and run [G]the
old setting [Am]hen [G]off.

one of them hatched and

Dilly will be a millionaire
