The mirror shone with an icy blow.

and no more in the hall did he linger.

where it was light.

Kai, there was no sight.
Just then, a snowstorm came.
Whoosh!
An icy wind groaned and swooshed.

Pop's shop.

and mean.
In the next shop she asked

Gerda and ran over there,
over the hill with white snow in her hair.
A huge frozen [Gm]palace lay ahead,
sparkling with icicles, [D]white, blue and red.
The doors were made of ice and so tall.

[D]Gerda did call.
The great doors opened with [Gm]a creak
and inside brave
[D]Gerda did sneak
up a white staircase made of snow.
[G]Past chilly dining rooms she did go.
Gerda tiptoed over the [D]icy floor.
Suddenly, she saw a small blue door.
[D]She flung it open and found
Kai [G]inside.
[D]Kai!
You're frozen solid!
She [D]cried.
Gerda saw the sharp splinters sticking out.
So she pulled it out with a [G]great big shout.
[Gm]All [G]at once,
Kai started to thaw.
Water dripped off him onto [D]the floor.
Gerda!
[G]Kai sprung forward fre[D]e and fast.
The
Snow
Queen's spell was
[C]broken at last.
[G]They were so happy to
see each other
[C]that they began to sob [G]an d blubber.
Ger[D]da and
Kai's tears melted the snow.
[C]Further and further their [G]warm tears did go.
[D]The nearby hill and town
turned spring green.
And the [G]kingdom was
saved from the mean
[G]Snow
Queen.
