Now they are not
really looking for space, they are looking for more time,
like the lungfish
and the walking [Bb]cat fish,
they weren't [G]really looking for [C]new dimension,
dimension dif[G]ferent from [F]water, they
were looking for more [G]water.
But some of them [Em]found that they had
[G]taken an
irretrievable forward step and for
[D]better or for worse left their
gills to their [F]makers.
[G]And as we [F]leave the aqualung
of [G]time we
may step into an [F]epic comparable
to the [G]days when the
early mariners set out to explore [F]an unknown world.
[G]I c[F]an see all manner of
spacecraft, [D]some of them [C]ob viously leth[Eb]al,
preparing to take [F]off.
[C]Only those [G]who
are willing to [F]leave everything
they have ever known in time need apply.

neces[Eb]sary to [F]travel, it is not necessary,
[G]and becoming increasingly difficult to
live.
